& hair color;
The top layer of Indie's hair is her natural color, but the bottom layers of her hair are blonde. It is fairly short, barely reaching her shoulders. She has side swept bangs that also have a tinge of blonde in them.
& eye color;
Depending on what she is wearing, sometimes Indie's eyes look a light green, sometimes a light blue, and sometimes a light gray. Most of the time, however, they look light blue.
& distinguishing features;
Apart from her color-treated hair, nothing.

Indie is an assortment of things all rolled into one. To start off with, she's intelligent. She's got great book smarts, and common sense. But that's all. She's not really 'life' smart. She can be quite oblivious at times, and wouldn't know if a guy liked her even if he was wearing a light up sign that told her so. Part of this comes from being a mildly shy Ravenclaw, and the other part comes from her belief that no guy sees her as more than just a little sister.
In addition to her intelligence, Indiana can be very creative. This helps her a lot when she gets into the kitchen. Since she loves food and sweets so much, she often sneaks off to the kitchen, and cooks with the house elves. She loves to cook, and loves to eat. It's a perfect fit for her. She likes to use her imagination to create new things. Sometimes this is a good thing, and she comes up with something great, or it's a bad thing, and it turns out disgusting. Either way, she loves to experiment and loves to be creative.
A different from her house would be her energy level. Indie can keep going and going and going and barely stop. She's just got so much energy. Most of the time, she is just so hyper and excited about something, and she's got to let it out somehow. This is why one of her professors introduced her Quidditch back in her third year. It was the only thing that could keep her energy levels to a minimal, and keep her mildly calm and focused. Not to mention, it also keeps her from gaining to much weight from all the food she consumes in a day.

& history;
Alaricus was a muggleborn from the suburbs of London, while Rowena was a pureblood witch from a town made of up solely witches and wizards. It was an unlikely meeting for the two, but they met on the train on the way to Hogwarts in the first year. Rowena thought he was fairly... Interesting for lack of better words, but Alaricus was lovestruck the moment he met her. Honestly, Rowena had no plans to continue their friendship after she got off of the train, but Alarcius had much different plans.
It took six long years before Rowena would even give him the time of day, but once she had, she was glad she did. They dated all throughout their seventh year, and for the next three years after they graduated. Once they finally got married, the wedding was grand, and their parents both approved. Three years later, they had their first son. The next year, little Indiana was born.
Being the only daughter, Indiana was quite spoiled by her mother. She had everything a little girl could ask for. Cute dresses, dolls, doll houses, cute shoes. But honestly, Indie was never really interested in the girl types of things. Often she would come into the house, her Sunday school style dress, stockings, and dress shoes, covered in mud. Needless to say, her mother didn't approve, but her father found it amusing. Growing up with two brothers didn't particularly help the problem either.
Indiana went to Hogwarts, just like her ancestors had since the school had been made. Her mother half hoped for Hufflepuff, while her father half hoped for Gryffindor. She surprised them both (and herself for that matter), when she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Now Indie is returning for her sixth year at Hogwarts, along with her two brothers.

”Let's go, let's go, let's go!” Indie bounced through the train station, not caring that half the muggles were watching her stranglely. She was excited to go back. Sure, summer break had been a blast, but now it was time to go back, and reconnect with her friends. There would be so much to talk about. Her summer in Spain, that hot guy that hosted her for a week, the letters they wrote back and forth, and then the unfortunate realization that a muggle would probably never accept the fact that she was a witch. In fact, she was sure he would take her to the nearest mental institution, and cash in on that twenty dollars she had heard they gave you when you turned in a patient. But today, not even that could bring her mood down.
“Indiana Monroe Ackerley. Calm yourself down.” Her mother said in a low, but firm voice.
“But mom...” Indie whined, before catching the glance she had gotten from her father, and instantly calmed herself. Her father wasn't the punishing type, but rather the one to give guilt trips. Indie was sure her father's guilt trips were ten times worst than her mother's punishments.
Not more than minutes later, the Ackerley family was standing on Platform 9 ¾, saying their bitter-sweet goodbyes.
“Indiana, did you pack your robes?
“Yes mother.”
“What about your socks?”
“Yes mother.”
“And you made sure you had all your books?”
Before her mother could even finish her sentence, Indiana latched onto her, hugging her tightly. “Make sure to write me as much as you can. And don't get into any trouble. Stay away from boys. All boys. Especially Slytherins. Those are bad boys. But no boys in general. Do you hear me? Indiana. Why do I have a feeling you're not listening to a word I am saying to you?”
“I love you Mum. I'll promise to right to you every chance I get. And yes, I'll stay away from boys...” There was a brief pause. “I'm going to miss you Mum.” Before she could even get the chance to reply back, Indie had taken off toward the train, hearing the whistle blow, while waving goodbye to her parents. Once she was safely on the train, her mother smiled faintly.
“I'll miss you too Indie.”

Goosey at CAUTION 2.0 made this and she would REALLY
like it if you didn't remove the credit. She worked her butt off and she just so happens
to know a pack of ravenous penguins that she will unleash on you if she finds out you
stole it. And all lyrics go to the band CAGE THE ELEPHANT, and their brilliant song
BACK AGAINST THE WALL.
