Blonde, usually found in loose waves. Length is slightly below her shoulders. She’s been known to just dye her hair red for laughs.
& eyes;
A light blue that tends to betray her emotions.
& face;
Heart shaped, full.
& build;
Alice has an average height. She balances that with heeled boots. She doesn’t think she has the most fantastic figure and there’s always something that can be changed but overall, Alice is happy with her build.

& clothing style;
Alice dresses practically. Pants, jeans, comfortable clothes and shoes. Colours wise, she loves colours, but sticks to blacks and neutrals for work. Style and fashion are not her strong suit. She does know how to dress up, and those who have never seen her outside work may be pleasantly surprised when they do meet her on a night out.

& personality;
There might be some who accuse Alice of being too stubborn. In a way, that is true. Alice often sticks to her opinion. But that stubbornness leads to two of Alice’s defining qualities. She is a faithful and loyal person. When you are her friend, she commits herself entirely to the friendship. The few close friends she has are always treasured. If she believes in something, she is steadfast in her alliances and will remain so through thick and thin. She doesn’t like betrayal nor people pretending to be someone they are not. Alice gives her all in friendships and she expects her friend to do the same.
Alice is patient and a listener. She seldom grows impatient unless a certain event has occurred too many times beyond her limit. Alice likes to listen. It makes her feel important in a way because someone has actually sought her out to talk to her. It also makes her feel good about herself. She dislikes being controlled. She sees it as a way of binding her freedom to do what she likes to do. Alice believes that when she wants to do something, she will do it and she doesn’t need anyone else to tell her when and/or how she should do it. Due to this, she has always had a problem with authority figures. She doesn’t know how she feels about them. Sometimes she likes and respects them. Other times she absolutely can’t wait to get them out of her sight.
Alice is a very calm person. It is rare for her to lose her composure and display anger and aggression. Anger is something Alice doesn’t like to face. It scares her. An angry Alice is certainly someone to face. Unlike some people who prefer to use verbal insults, Alice would much rather use physical force. Or throw some curses. Or run away depending how who the person is. When she is angry with someone she deeply cares for, she would rather leave than say things she knows she would regret later. What scares her about her temper is the intensity of her feelings. She tends to shut down for some time after losing her temper.

& history;
It began with Anders Logan and Frederick Lortimer. Lifelong friends who married whoever they were told to. Deciding that it would be best in both their interests, the two men decided that should they have a daughter and son pairing, they would be betrothed. Frederick had his children first. A few years after the birth of Frederick’s daughter, the Logans had a son. And so it was set in stone, Ashton Logan and Faye Lortimer were betrothed since birth. Ashton knew nothing of it, while Faye was told when she was fifteen. Needless to say, the spoilt girl made a fuss but got over it pretty quickly when her father told her that she would do as she was told or be disinherited.
As soon as Ashton was of age, the two of them got married. Frederick Lortimer was not taking any chances with his daughter. It would be a few years later before Faye had her first child. It was a difficult pregnancy and it did nothing to endear her to the unborn child of the marriage she didn’t want. When it was a girl that was revealed, Faye was not pleased. Still, Ashton Logan, an unassuming man and complete opposite of his wife, adored his daughter from the start. Alice Jennifer Logan was born.
As a child, she was not a quiet one. She ran about the great big empty mansion and generally created havoc for her mother, who left the house just to be rid of her presence. At least she had the house elves for company. When Alice was told of the betrothal of her parents (she was ten), she mentioned that it was silly. In return, she got a look from her two grandfathers that reminded her of how they looked at the house elves. When she was told she might one day be betrothed to someone, Alice ran out of the room.
The next year was her first year at Hogwarts. Her family was more of a Ravenclaw/Slytherin family, with a few odd Gryffindors and a Hufflepuff. Alice, ever the rebel, got into Gryffindor. That did nothing to please her mother, but then again, she was never pleased with her only child and daughter. Making friends with the Muggle borns did nothing to help their relationship. Alice Logan was not Prefect material. She got into her fair share of detentions, hexed several of her enemies on the sly and tried not to get caught. She did try to study, after all, that was the whole point of Hogwarts. Right?
In her sixth year, Alice got pregnant. She was seeing a Slytherin boy at that time and over the summer, Alice got rid of the baby. The boy found out, made a fuss, but it had all been done and over with. In her seventh year, Alice concentrated more on her studies, got some extra credits and eventually managed to get the grades needed to become an Auror. She wasn’t quite sure she wanted to be an Auror, but she did it. Partly to spite her mother, but also because she had a naïve thinking that she might help change the world.
She’s eighteen now, and while nowhere close to helping change the world, Alice is making a difference, in small doses. Oh, and she’s trying to be an Animagus.

There were certain things in a girl’s life that were regular. Wanting to look pretty. Having a bad hair day. Wanting the boy of her dreams to look at her and tell her she was beautiful. The usual monthly cycle of not being pregnant and thus, feeling all yucky for a week or so. All these had happened to Alice. Except for the last one. Now, the blonde was sure it wasn’t all that unusual for it to be late. But considering the fact that she had slept with Sirius and that she felt like vomiting in the morning for the past few weeks, Alice Logan was terrified. And then she woke up this morning and ran to the toilet to puke.
There was an article in Witch Weekly that she read last week about pregnancy. Why there was such an article, she didn’t know. She did know that it had the incantation of a spell that revealed if one was pregnant. Alice borrowed that magazine from her friend, pretending to want to read it during her free period. Instead, she had gone to an empty classroom, locked herself in it and performed the spell. And she didn’t like what it indicated. Not one bit. A fat lot of good Sirius Black was going to be. Alice didn’t even want to tell him. Hell, she had already decided that she was not going to tell him.
Did that explain why she was sitting here in a corner, in a pretty pink dress that she had picked out, and looking absolutely miserable? No, she couldn’t look miserable. People would think there was something wrong with her. She couldn’t have that. Right. Alice grabbed some pumpkin juice, mingled with people, lamented the fact that she was dateless and then she went right back to her spot at the table. Why was she dateless? Oh, because she didn’t even ask anyone out. Why didn’t she ask anyone out? Maybe because she wanted to ask Frank. But she heard he was going with Julia. Then she suspected she was pregnant. Any attempt at finding a date just went out the window. And now she was certain she was carrying a baby. Her life might not be over, but it sure felt like it.

Goosey at CAUTION 2.0 made this and she would REALLY
like it if you didn't remove the credit. She worked her butt off and she just so happens
to know a pack of ravenous penguins that she will unleash on you if she finds out you
stole it. And all lyrics go to the band CAGE THE ELEPHANT, and their brilliant song
BACK AGAINST THE WALL.
