faith has naturally vibrant red hair. currently she has died it blonde but normally it is in its natural shade. generally she wears it down and natural. as a little girl she was always teased for having such bright red hair ever since she has hated the fact her hair is such an unusual color.

faith has absolutely gorgeous vibrant blue eyes. she considers them to be her absolute best feature. they harbor lots of her bottled up emotion and tend to look sad. her eyes make her unique aside from the bright red hair. her eyes are what truly make her beautiful, how complex they are. her eyes show her depth and complexity.

faith has very delicate and feminine features. her cheekbones are relatively high and strong. her nose is of average size and again very delicate. her lips are relatively small but not thin. her brows are severe and have a very high arch.

like her facial features her body is also very feminine and delicate. faith is extremely tall standing at five foot eleven inches. she is also very slim weighing merely one hundred fifteen pounds. faith has extremely long and thin legs. faith definitely has a woman's figure and is by no means athletic. she hardly has any muscle and is primarily all skin and bones.

as a professor of history faith always wears classy and school appropriate clothes. her closet consists mainly of pencil skirts, blouses, and suits. she is extremely classy and hardly is ever seen in a part of sweat pants or jeans even. she never wears flats but heels. her jewelry box contains nicely crafted pearls, diamonds, and classy beads. faith is a firm believer in first impressions therefore she always tries very hard to look her best.

In the classroom Faith is a rather strict woman. She constantly keeps order, and doesn't take any sort of nonsense from anyone. She isn't the worst professor at the school though, she is sympathetic towards people who have issues, and would never chastise someone for not doing an assignment if its because of a severe issue. Other than that she commands respect. At home she is, however, a completely different person. She loves her children, and would do anything for them. Faith tends to be the motherly sort of person around her friends and family. Its quite obvious how much she adores her children and husband.
Aside from the unconditional love she shows for her family, Faith also enjoys playing the piano and music. When both Lily and Petunia were younger she used to play for them to put them to sleep. Although Faith adores opera, and show tunes she herself doesn't have the best singing voice.

the day faith was conceived was a topic brought up only once in her childhood. her mother had gotten pregnant completely by accident, a result of a drunken night in college. her mother was only a year or two away from finishing college her major being english. the day jane found out she was pregnant was the day her life changed. her parents had forced her to marry the man who had gotten her pregnant despite the fact they didn't even know each other. even though the couple didn't know each other well they coped and learned to tolerate one another. when faith was born her mother wanted to put her up for adoption but her parents refused to allow her to.
as a baby her mother tried very hard to warm up to the child but it was very difficult for her to at times. jane was not a warm woman and getting married and having a child had not been part of her life plan. charles wasn't exactly warm either, after the birth of faith he became an alcoholic and hardly came home and if he did he wasn't sober. faith did not grow up in a very stable home. she grew up exposed to abuse, alcohol, and drugs seeing the outcomes up close and extremely personal. as a little girl she never depended on her mother or father only herself. she gave herself baths at night and packed her own lunch.
throughout her early childhood her mother was the only one in her life. her father was either out getting drunk or at work. her mother resented faith very much and tried to make excuses to not be around her daughter. faith can recall asking her mother to read her a bed time story when she was four, she was rejected and sent off. from then on she realized she could never be dependent on anyone. growing up in that environment as a little girl she thought it was normal for not having milk in the house for cereal or not having a father around and having a mother who primarily ignored her. it wasn't until she had her first playdate at another little girl's house did she realize that it wasn't normal.
at times faith hoped for her father to come back but when he did she wished she hadn't hoped for it. it only resulted in a fight between her mother and father which at times got violent. it frightened her the first few times but soon after that it was ordinary for her, she tried to stay out of the way to avoid getting abused herself. when she was ten her mother and father had gotten into a terrible argument which resulted in her mother's suicide. faith was then raised by her father which wasn't any better. her father never forgot to tell her she was useless, unwanted, and incredibly ugly every day. soon faith began believing the insults her father threw at her.
the suicide affected thomas almost more than faith. he started drinking more heavily which eventually led to him getting fired. whenever he would come home from getting drunk faith would try very hard to hide in her room to avoid getting beaten by him but some nights she failed to do so--or he always found her. the abuse continued well into her high school years and during her high school years it turned from the two kinds of abuse (mental and physical) to the three kinds of abuse (mental, physical, and sexual).
aside from her home situation faith was an excellent student. she was smart, musically gifted, and incredibly sweet. she rarely spoke up in class in fear of punishment and was incredibly self conscious of herself. her teachers constantly worried about her, wondering what went on at home. she managed to get through her high school career without telling anyone. she was far too ashamed to speak of what had gone on at home. she learned piano from a music teacher eventually becoming extremely gifted. she also took vocal lessons, finding music a way to escape. she received a full paid scholarship to oxford university after she graduated.
she took it eagerly and left her father, never getting into contact with him again. she promised to herself she would never do that to her own children and considered her past experiences a lesson to herself. she often would lie to herself, saying she was fine and that it hadn't affected her when in reality it had affected her gravely and still affects her to this day. in college she met her husband thomas evans. they were both studying politics and government. soon they were engaged and soon after that faith was pregnant. she had told thomas of her childhood and her fear of becoming her mother or worse her father. and also expressed that he was the only one who ever bothered to love her.
after her first daughter was born she was soon pregnant again with her second daughter. after that she went back to college and got her doctorate in politics. after that she worked on a book discussing the evils of communism and socialism and eventually applied for a job at Cambridge University as the Professor of Government and Politics. The university was very impressed with her knowledge and hired her. she was very proud of herself and considered it to be one of her greatest accomplishments.
a few years ago she found out her youngest girl was a witch which surprised her but also caused her to have a spark of pride. she allowed her daughter to attend openly and tried very hard to fan the jealousy of her oldest daughter. she is currently living in london with her husband who is is madly and truly in love with.
